The only hesitation I have with going to AA school over medical school is the lack of professional flexibility with the AA degree. I've heard that having an MD/DO opens doors to consulting jobs, writing jobs, and other "work-at-home" jobs that apparently only physicians are qualified to do.
Have you heard of any AAs doing other forms of work on the side (e.g., consulting or anything else), or are AAs/CRNAs primarily relegated to working in the clinical system?
