I'm curious... what are your reasons for choosing to become an AA instead of a doctor? Since I'm still pretty young, people ask me that all the time. I guess it's just a combination of factors -- essentially doing the work of a physician (anesthesiologist) without the 8 years of graduate school/residency, making $130-150k per year at only 24 years of age, having secured a "for-life" career in healthcare at a young age, etc.
What about you (since you're also young yourself)?
