I would go to CRNA school. I am a biology major and applied to Emory + Nova but was rejected because of my gre score. i am not going to waste my time any more with these school that i figured a lot of personal influence are involved. so i just start my accelerated nursing program then i can be qualify for crna school. These are Advantages of CRNA over AA program. 1- They can earn more money if they practice independently (AA can not practice without supervision of Anesthesiologist).2- CRNA will have one time board exam (AA's have to take the the board every 6 years.3- For any reason if you loss the crna license, you still can practice under your RN degree. 4- CRNA's can practice in all 50 states while AA's can work in 12-14 states (mostly in south).5- Also i heard in the next few years all crna schools are going to offer doctor of nurse Anesthetist like DNP. I know two crna schools Texas and Pensylvania that offer Doctor of nurse Anesthetist. eventually all crna schools will offer doctor degree.
