Anesthesia Technician(A.T.)that's great, being a Certified Anesthesia Technician and/or Technologist(Cer.A.T.T.) is a great path in becoming an AA-C.

That's why I feel It's very important as Allied Health Care Professional(AHCP) we need to support one another Cer.A.T.T.'s and AA-C's. After all the Nurse Profession Support one another.

Example: The AANA(Association of Nurse Anesthetist), AORN(Association of Peri operative Register Nurse),and NA(Nurse Association)they all stick together.

The nurse profession(R.N.'s&L.V.N.'s)role model in becoming a Anesthetist are CRNA's, the Allied Health Care Profession such as Cer.A.T.T's, R.R.T.'s, C.C.P's, R.C.P's., E.M.T's.,P.M.'s (Paramedic's,), M.T.'s(Medical Technologist),& C.T.'s(Cardiovascular Technologist), role model in becoming a Anesthetist are AA-C's.

In reality we do have a lot of clinical& critical skills as well as technology skills being AHCP, and we do not have to go to nursing school to become a Anesthetist. Our profession is not nursing It's only "RIGHT" and "FAIR" that we start looking up to AA-C's as our role model AHCP and support them in every way we can and not be so "Gong Ho" about CRNA's only.

No offence I'm only speaking from truth and experience I welcome both Anesthetists AA-C/CRNA but you have to be fair and loyal to "BOTH".

In closing why can't we as AHCP stick together and support one another?..The time is NOW! on all levels theres strength in numbers!. Good Luck to you in your AA-C career
