Just ask a hospital, if you give a reason most will be happy to let you see what they do. In the state of Indiana AA's are not allowed to practice. And of the national voice, yes in that this is an issue for everyone within these specialties, however in the events of daily activity, side by side in my experience rarely if ever does the rhetoric come out, everyone seems to get along so much better in person.
