I am a writer and find your discussions interesting. I'm curious about you--both AAs and CRNAs and will be writing an article about this topic. If you would like to add information for me to use regarding this current debate, please respond in the next 48 hours to the following questions:
1. Why is there a discussion about AAs vs. CRNAs? In other words, does one group perform better as a professional than the other?
2. Is this discussion based on emotions, or facts (as in observable, measureable)?
3. Do CRNAs feel threatened by a lack of work/loss of income if AAs are allowed to practice?
4. Does either group know of documented cases that I can find on the Internet re: AAs being unqualified to perform at the same standard as CRNAs?
