Not one CRNA engaged in the lawful practice of Nurse Anesthesia in any state in the country is practicing medicine. CRNAs are practicing Nurse Anesthesia. If they were practicing medicine, they would be arrested and prosecuted for practicing medicine without a license. The fact that you disagree with the laws in this country do not make them wrong, in this case, it makes you wrong. I take it that it is your opinion that there are no safety issues with CRNAs under the opt out? At last something we agree on. What study or outcome data do you have supporting your claim that the opt out is "not in the best interest of patient care"? Again you make wild claims with no outcome or occurrence data to support them.
