Seems to be an argument about "direct supervision." It is my understanding that an MDA can supervise a number of AAs (3? 4?) each working in a different room and be "supervising" them. The same is true for the MDA supervising CRNAs. In both cases, I would say they BOTH are being directly supervised by the MDA, even if he is not in the same room.
