Seriously considering CRNA school

After what I've been reading on this forum I'm seriously considering CRNA school. I applied to a few AA schools last year and didn't get in. I was going to reapply but what I've been reading on this forum made me reconsider. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. I'm thinking about applying to an accelerated bsn track (only 12 months), get the one year critical care experience, then going to CRNA school. I just think there are much more opportunities as a crna vs aa, at least where I'm from. Recent graduates, do you regret becoming an AA? I just don't want to be limited in my career.
