Wow - one whole year of ICU experience - impressive. So that means you got through orientation and went to anesthesia school. Bet they loved you at your hospital. I won't bore your with details on an anonymous board, but suffice it to say I had years more hands-on patient experience than you did completing your ICU orientation.

And you work with AN AA. Impressive again. Only one? Again, not to bore you with details, but I work with a bunch of both AA's and CRNA's. We've hired CRNA's from quite a few highly-ranked programs - some are quite good, some I would just as soon show the door. Same with AA's.
