You raise a valid point. The only thing about med school is 4 years of unemployment. At least if I purse my bsn, I could still keep my current job (and my job would pay for nursing school) and then when I graduate, i'll still be working so it's continuous employment. The end goal is always money. I don't mind the two years of unemployment for crna school bc I would have already saved money for it. I would love to become an AA but there are so many factors against the profession.
