A lovely tribute

I thought I’d share this. The legendary Broadway composer and lyricist, Stephen Sondheim, passed away early Friday morning at the age of 91. As a tribute, yesterday (Sunday), members of the Broadway community, with representatives from every show currently playing in NYC, as well as a number of composers and former Broadway performers such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sara Bareilles, and Josh Groban, gathered in Times Square in front of the TKTS booth to sing “Sunday” from Sondheim’s show, Sunday in the Park with George. He belonged to the world, but this seems like such a New York moment:
