"Love on the Spectrum" (Netflix) has come out with another season. It follows several men and women who have various forms of autism, as they try to navigate finding romantic partners. It's funny and touching, and so life-affirming. It brings all the cringey moments of dating back, but even more so with people who struggle sometimes to navigate this world with us "neuro-typical" types. Second season is even better than the first, and brought me to tears. Just makes me want to cheer these people on...brilliantly done.
One aside: I found it interesting how many of them were open to dating either men or women. Is that because things are so much looser these days, or are people on the autism spectrum more likely to be on the LGBTQ+ spectrum as well?
