I am not trying to be argumentative - I understand rarity and I understand one's preferences are their own. I just hesitate to call a particular frame size/ gauge combo "the holy grail" especially if it is otherwise mundane. Now, if I was to find a 1910 regular frame, 20 ga, A3, two barrel set with 32 in Whitworth and 28 or 30 barrels of the finest Damascus, English stock with heel and toe plates, sculpted breech balls, skeletonized top lever ..... I'd be looking for The Ark of the Convenant to case it in. Seriously all in good fun. I celebrate anything that is pleasing in an old double, sometimes it's configuration, sometimes its simply wood grain.
