In 1921 my Father purchased a 20Ga. L.C.Smith. For the next 50 years he used nothing but Super-X 1oz. shells. He would use nothing but, 3AND1 oil and Super-X shells for that gun.In 1972 he passed the gun on to me and since the stock didn't fit me we had David Trevallion restock the gun with a beautiful piece of walnut(kept the original stock and forend). When we took the original stock off we noticed it was in perfect condition with no cracks. I now have Parkers, L.C Smiths and have owned Ansley Fox in the past and my preference is L.C.Smith.
