I was hoping to be able to go as high as 11:1 static compression, It just sounded high for an old four cylinder with an Iron head.
seems like flat top pistons, and little off the block and a little off the head should get me where I want to be.
Now I need to get my ass in gear and start swapping parts around.
I need to put the 83 head on my 1980 4 door. Then put the 1980 head on my 78, so I can get the 78 head worked on, for the new engine. (that way when all is said and done I'll have a spare open chambered head sitting on a shelf in my shed)
