Here's a couple of thoughts:
A) The economic situation in Illinois is starting to reach unsustainable levels, and this is finally trickling down to where local schools are suffering the consequences.
B) This situation will not be corrected by electing this candidate or that candidate. I don't give a damn who you name. The state of Illinois is completely broken, financially, and now we're seeing the ugly results.
Your candidate for whatever electable position is not going to be able to fix it, and you're talking out of your butt if you believe otherwise. Local politics will not fix a problem that rises to a much higher level, and that's a fact.
Illinois is broken. Period. It's going to take years to fix this mess. Why pretend that it can be super-glued shut in one election?
