Our pulley nut won't budge. I have put a wedge between the block and crank and used a huge socket with a lengthy breaker bar on it. It won't move. I'm afraid if I pull any harder the huge breaker bar break.
I have tried my impact wrench and while it is good, it cannot move this nut either. I may bring home a bigger impact gun from work to see if it is up to the task.
The manual says these things go on with 110 ft-lb. I know we've been pulling with somewhere between 2 and 3 times that. What should we try/do to get that front pulley nut off the crank?
All advice is welcome.
