So just to clarify, you concede that nursing didactic training is weak compared to a pre-med background but then transition to a wonderful red herring about how "intellectuals" have no common sense.
Before you take your fallacious rebuttal and make it a rational one, I'll reply to it: it's a good thing that AA's take their didactic prerequisites and build upon it with more basic sciences AND anesthesia training.
I'll agree that critical care nursing imparts some fabulous skills, but let's be honest - anesthesia is anesthesia. While some ICU experience does help in the OR, let's be honest - the vast majority of the time you spend in the ICU as a nurse does not directly translate into anesthesia skills.
