You are absolutely correct. AA's are a danger because they didn't learn how to deal with code browns, start foley's, or learn how to zero a-lines in the ICU.
After all, instead of learning about nursing diagnosis and the proper steps to starting an IV, AA's took basic science classes that were higher level than the nursing survey classes.
And if working under the ACT model means "just following orders", then the vast majority of CRNA's in the US (which practice under the ACT model) already have experience at just following orders...since they are nurses.
