Hello: Ferrante I understand your concern every time when A.A.-C.s are wanting to gain practice rights in other states as mid-level anesthesia provider in the ACT, the AANA/CRNA are there "blocking" them from obtaining those rights.
But with all do respect that's the key in getting the AA-C/AAAA profession recognize with the support and respect of the ASA/AAAA, AOA/AAAA AAAA/AAPA and hopefully AAAA/ASATT in the future in the same manner as ASA/ASATT and AANA/ASATT.
This is where communication, education, and support comes in being advocates for AA-S,RN,AA-S (student anesthetists) = AA-C/RN,AA-C. In all fairness this was not going to stay as a secret for long time once (Anti) CRNAs/AANA got word of this.
It might surprise you to know there may be some CRNAs supporting AA-Cs/RN,AA-Cs on this bill not all CRNAs are "Anti"- AA-C think about it.
In conclusion the world is evolving and changing everyday as we speak you can't stop progress no matter how much people try fight it or block it with "politics" (negative). Good always win over evil FACT!
Try to look at this in a positive way vs. in a negative way.
