Very Immature and ignorant Ram I will not stoop to your level that was really uncalled for but then again I guest that's typical of you.

Your right you have the obligation to support the AANA or the AAAA all I'm saying Ram is as an allied health care professional (you as an RRT) with already have obtained a bachelor's of science degree with out having to go to nursing school to obtain a second bachelor's of science degree 5.2 years total just to obtain a master of science degree to practice as an CRNA.

When you can practice as an anesthetist in 2.5 years as an AA-C with a master of science degree doing the same job as an CRNA and earning the same $salary six figures annually in the ACT and continue supporting your association as AHCP it only make sense to go AA-C route but as you said it's you right to chose what path you want to go.

In my opinion I feel it's important that we as AHCP need to support the AAAA,AA-C in every way across the board I'm sorry but that's how I feel, on a professional level Ram let me ask you three question and I want to see how mature and honest you are for some reason I feel that your either a CRNA now or your going CRNA route just from your attitude? Like I said before if you chose to go CRNA route I wish you the best.

#1.Do you think it's right that the AANA are trying to close down every AA-C schools including the newest AA-C program University Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine? (which I know is not true or should I say it will not happen if the anesthesiologist M.D./D.O. who co-direct and teach the program have any thing to say about it.)

#2.Do you think It's right that the AANA are trying to have AA-Cs not consider as anesthetist when AA-Cs are anesthetist?..And why is it every time when I present the truth and/or facts about the negative politics of the AANA mostly from the CRNAs on here. All of a sudden I'm the bad person, or I'm crying, or I'm wining, or I'm B!@*hing?..All I'm trying to do is get real answers.

#3.Do you think it's right when the AAAA want to practice in different states where AA-Cs do not practice as of yet, but when the AANA hear that AA-Cs are trying to become license and/or practice in that particular state they run to legislation and try to block the AA-Cs is it right Yes! or No! what the AANA is doing?..Prime example the state of Oklahoma may 2008 the AANA ran and try to block AA-Cs from becoming license or from working in that state sorry to say AA-Cs were license anyway.

I feel AA-Cs have the right to work in all 50 states in the same manner as CRNAs in the ACT for the CRNAs who are open minded and support AA-Cs in their effort to have the right to practice in all 50 states I have the up most respect for them and may God bless them because I know it's not easy going behind the AANA to testify in support of the AA-C profession.

Prime example in the state of Ohio when CRNAs went to go testify on the behalf of the AA-Cs that they work with in the ACT on how competent and excellent anesthetist they are. The AANA gave the CRNAs problems with renewing their license because they were supporting the AA-Cs. "Truth hurts doesn't?.

Question Ram why is it fair for CRNAs to work in all 50 states but AA-Cs can't after nearly 40 years with an impeccable safety record as an anesthetist with strong pre-med back ground just like the anesthesiologist M.D./D.O.?..Example I'm practicing as a license AA-C in the state of Vermont I get a phone call from California that my mother was involved in a major automobile accident she is in critical condition in ICU.

Now I have to fly home to California to take care of my love one until there back on their feet, but guess what AA-Cs are not allowed to work in the state of California remember I am an anesthetist(AA-C).

Back in Vermont I work side by side with other AA-Cs and CRNAs and count both anesthetists as my closet friends. I need to work and make a living for the next 6 Months while I'm in California taking care of my love one until I'm able to go back to Vermont and work. So I ask you Ram as a human being and a open minded fair person what am I suppose to do for the next 6 months since I'm not allowed to work in California as an anesthetist, and do you think it's right for the AANA to block or deny me from working in California or any other states as an AA-C when I'm doing the same job as a CRNA in the ACT?

Yes different state different hospital but performing the same job as a anesthetists AA-C/CRNA regardless of where I go practice in the U.S. anesthesia is anesthesia we both just have different pathways in teaching on how to give regional anesthesia regardless of what hospital or outpatient surgery center I work at.

Put your self in my shoe Ram if you were an AA-C with 10 years of experience and your also training CRNA students(SRNA) as a AHCP anesthetist AA-C. You work in Florida as a license AA-C you get a phone call that your farther who lives in Seattle Washington West Coast just had a heart attack(this is just a scenario I don't wish this on anybody) you have to fly home to be with your farther.

You may be in Seattle for 3 Months until your farther recuperate remember you can't work in the state of Washington as an AA-C even though you are an anesthetist. You lose your license as an RRT because you haven't worked as an RRT in 10 years. How would you feel that you are denied from practicing as an AA-C with 10 years of experience in the ACT when you know your highly qualified to work in any hospital or out patient setting (day surgery) in the city/state of Seattle Washington?.

In closing I will say this and once I say it I'm through with it I 'm not going to to play these insecurity, immature, unprofessional ism, & childish games. I do not Hate CRNAs as a individual or people for that matter hate is a strong word, I know there are some very nice respectful open minded CRNAs out there who support AA-Cs.

I dislike the organization of the AANA and their negative politics they use against the AAAA,AA-C profession when where doing the same job in the ACT as well as your fellow ICU nurses who function as an AA-C AHCP anesthetist R.N.A.A.-C.,M.S.A. still function as an nurse and anesthetist(AA-C)what's the problem people?. Yes this gets under my skin why?..because this is suppose to be about the patients instead I hear and see is who's superior, unprofessionalism, $$$greed, & dirty politics etc. mostly coming from the AANA instead of working together as a collaborative team both the AANA and AAAA with one common goal the "PATIENT" period. Why can't we work together?

After everything I have said Ram if you can't tell the difference between "Right and Wrong" and/or can't admit the truth and you still defend the AANA with their negative politics towards the AAAA then your not as intelligent as I thought you were, and yes any CRNA who are "ANTI" AA-C I have no respect for them at all. I respect both anesthetists but there has to be fairness, respect, & loyalty to both not one over the other period.

Good luck to you Ram which ever route you chose to take to become an anesthetist I wish you the best. I will not respond to any of your postings in the future I do not need you as a critic on my English skills, and yes I will be taking English courses in the fall if you can't read or say anything positive about my posting then by all mean please do not respond to them. If I chose to write long sentences it's my prerogative and be careful what you say it may come back to bite you or to hunt you think before you talk.

I will continue to be an "ADVOCATE" for the AAAA,AA-C and allied health care profession why?..because when I come out of AA-C school I do not wish to go through this type of politics or fiasco on this magnitude as of now the present. I'm sure the next posting you send me will be negative and unprofessional but don't worry I wont read it.

Just remember from the time we have been talking on and off from this AA message board in our past postings I have never once "DISRESPECT" YOU! in any way just know that. This is one letter I will be taking to legislation and to my state Governor when it comes time for my state to license AA-Cs.

Good day Ram and God bless you just remember he sits high and looks low on everything we do and how we treat people in life.
