I understand your position, and I honestly don't see any reasons to refute what you claim -- that AAs are graduated with the purpose of working for doctors as salaried employees who will never "fly the nest."
I imagine that the other folks here understand that reality, too...but, most importantly, they accept it.
Some people's professional aspirations can be satisfied by being comfortably-paid employees(i.e., always working under "The Man") throughout the duration of their careers. I imagine that, if they were interested in independent practice, they would earn their BSNs and apply to CRNA programs.
