    Many CRNA's enter the profession with only a single year of ICU experience. The length and depth of experience, and even what qualifies as ICU experience, is left entirely up to the individual program. In some schools, ER nursing counts - in some NICU.

    And lets keep in mind that there are still thousands upon thousands of CRNA's in practice today with NO degree at all. None. Nada. Zip.

    And where do you come up with this "recent resurrection of the failed AA experiment" crap? The Case and Emory programs have been operating continuously for 35 years - they didn't close and suddenly re-open a year or two ago.
