Our youngest applied for a job at a new ice cream shop.
Interesting---was told to come for 1st interview, would only take 5 minutes so have ride wait. MOst kids didn't drive yet.
That test was to prove could count change. 5 mins was long enough.

those that passed were invited to come next day and again for a short time...the test was to prove that you could mop a floor properly..we laughed at our Riley. She said, " Mom, it wasn't a Swiffer like we use at home, it was a heavy mop with a big bucket like on Carol Burnett"

She passed, got the job when the 3rd test was her invented ice cream flavor passed with flying colors, something with root beer. Was told the only one with such a flavor, she and her dad like it a lot and each flavor sold are invented at the shop and made there.

OK, past my bedtime so just thought I would share a story that is true that some can't count change- grand daughter said a lot of applicants didn't get to come for 2nd day.
