I'm scared of fires, too. They burn all the acreage and trees in three directions from us. Last year we were given evacuation instructions, but they got the one big one out before it reached us. It was 5 miles up the Elk River.
I think the world is having more fires due to the drought. And then we have those horrendous floods. I worry, and pray a lot.

MA renters seldom take the time and effort to keep the places as nice as we do. And some are even worse than just not watering...household damages are a bad by-product, too.
