I agree, Pattie. Some people are basically stupid.

We've been having storms in surrounding areas here. It rained here a little this morning. Lots of thunder and it's been overcast all morning. I had a 1:15 appointment with the cardiologist but I rescheduled it. I don't want to be driving in the rain if it starts again. I can drive okay, but at my age I know my reactions would be a lot slower and I just don't want to take a chance if it rains. They understood.

I eventually had a drought type of front yard put in at my California house because they were limiting watering lawns and I couldn't trust the renters to make sure noting died like the previous ones who let most of my rose bushes die surrounding the house.

All those homes in SoCal that burned up last year are on hills or surrounded by foothills. They have been restricted to rebuild so any heavy rains will be another horrible disaster.
