It did not rain like I thought it would yesterday.The weather report says my area is officially in a drought.The grass is brown and crackles when you step on it.

What worries me is that my house sits between two hills and with fall approaching it being so dry that fires might get started.

My neighbors have a back deck built right on t o the hill behind the house.They have a hot tub there and it bothers me thinking about them sitting around smoking cigarettes and flicking ashes and butts off the deck.

Oh well I worry too much but the words drought and fire concern me.
