Is there a local museum nearby? I plan on donating my husband's Vietnam photo collection to one.He was a poet and all the cards and notes he wrote to me are staying with me until my last days then my nieces and nephews can make the decision as to their destination.

At some funerals I have attended I have seen some things placed in the casket that rank from strange to touching.That is one way of keeping close by.The funeral home I am using they will not leave tokens left in caskets that are metal and or pieces of jewelry.

Ask your grand-daughters if they would be interested in them maybe.
