Flo I have a sister that has had a cortosone shot in both her right knee and right hip and it has helped her but only for a few months.

My sister and I have a mutual friend who died from his cortosone shot, he got a bad infection in his knee that traveled to his heart after getting the shot.

I have a friend who was a doctor, he stated that their are doctors that forget that a cortosone shot isn't the same as a vaccination, they forget that the area around the area that's going to get the shot has to be totally sterilize which should include putting a sterilize cloth around the area. The doctor that adminstrated the shot for the friend who died had only used a alcohol swab to clean the area
