Ford Mondeo Zetec 2.0 TDCi 130 2005 - Code P2263 boost pressure control malfunction #

Year of Manufacture *: 2005
Engine Size and Code *: 1998
( Optional ) Scanner Used: KTS
( Optional) Fault Codes: P2263

Hi guys can anyone shed any light on this I have fault code P2263 boost pressure control malfunction I have checked all the obvious split pipes etc I have visually checked the turbo no play and spins freely ,I have not done a great deal on diesel turbo,s so I don't really know what I am checking can anyone help cheers John

Hi Kev
Thanks for the response I am not much wiser after reading the posts on this subject apart from the fact it cold be turbo/egr/wiring/etc the only thing I have noticed is the actuator arm is tight in the middle of its operation and if I rev it sometimes it does not come back straight away does this indicate the turbo is worn John

It most likely means the turbo is carboned up.

Sticky VNT operating ring, common problem with this system.Speak to Milan he as the solution (pun intended)
