    There is a tee connector close to the servo (assuming right hand drive !! ) 1 small pipe goes down to the turbo regulator and other pipe goes upwards towards heater, just pull the small pipe out and plug it.

    Better still check vac and try heater control in various positions to see if you can prove faulty.

    I is best to remove headlamp to check wires and pipe work, check with a vac gauge to prove pipe work, vac pump and vac capsule are sound. There is should also be a small plastic vacuum tank to check.

    You should be able to operate the turbo actuator with your scanner, to prove the control system is OK

    If the vacuum and control system is OK, it could be the vanes in the turbo sticking, work the linkage and check they are free. Intermittent Vane fault are difficult to prove because the variation in operating temperatures and pressures
