Hi Jim. I Would think, looking at those codes, they will not be far off what you would get out of of Lexia, My mate uses Launch amongs other tools and allthough it isn't great on everything it does do some stuff extremely well, and pulls him and occasionaly me out of the poo.

I would think that the code for not stopping when its turned off will possibly be caused by a faulty presure regulator or more likely. Iron filings stuck in the filter basket on the tip of the reg. ( looks like a chrome tip but if you look closely or use a magnifying glass its actually a filter ).

If thats it, pull all the crap out with tweezers, give it a good spray with brake cleaner and try it. ( or fit a new one if you have one handy ) also whilst its out, turn the ignition on which will pump a bit of diesel out of the hole in the pump, catch it in some white paper and look for iron filings in that.

p,s, the above method is tabboo with bosch as you aren't supposed to clean the reg, ( just fit new ) but back in the real world with customers with little money and a need to know exactly to the penny what something is going to cost before you do anything its worth trying to clean it first.

if you want some better advise, keep away from any french cars, common rail diesels, mondeo tdci's etc and anything with systems fitted that cost more to repair than the cars worth at when the car is around 4 / 5 years old.

There are more dead cars than ever before that are just not worth repairing due to expensive unreliable modern technology. and everybody thinks its good for business but it isn't when you know before you start that it isn't likely to be worth repairing when youve wasted hours checking it out.

like yours with several fault codes you need an open cheque book to cure each fault as you find it, knowing that another fault code might pop back up after youve fixed the first problem.

( Which the customer isn't usually happy about as "You haven't fixed his car, cos its still got a problem and its your fault and it only had one problem when it came in )

    H.T.H. Tony.
