Some of our more established members will know how to access the old archives......an explanation is in order
In the early days of UKAT we had a forum running for about 9 months before the forum host went belly up and we lost everything
When we found this present host it was pretty basic(no archiving). I was copying and pasting posts from the forum onto separate web pages to avoid another disaster, as you can imagine this was extremely time consuming especially trying to run a workshop as well, hence we have the old archive up to May 2004
From June 2004 our forum host was able to archive and store posts, each forum now holds 3,000 ongoing posts, then they drop into the archive (stores 25,000). Before they drop off into the archive, i go in and alter the headings and highlight the FIXED posts, this makes it easier to search. Unfortunately it is not possible to search both together
So to sum up, we have and old archive up to May 2004, then from June 2004 you will see "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Archive" at the top of some forums, just click on Archive and go to the search box at the bottom and type in the vehicle you require ie "Ford Mondeo"
I know it all seems a bit quirky, but once you know its not to bad. I don't have the know how, time or resources to run UKAT like iATN, but we get by
I know members may post questions that are probably covered in the archives.........but if you can't find what you are looking for, then just ask, i or another member will point you in the right direction
