My post was written in a similar sprit to be honest & it appears that spirit was not received either. Lets not blow this out of proportion Darren. I have a lot of respect for you & your seemingly vast understanding of the subject. But that aside, I dont think it would hurt for you to take a step back from time to time to consider how your writings are received.
Many of the posters on UKAT & other forums are not terribly articulate & they dont phrase there questions as well as others may do. Perhaps a little leeway could be given!
One small point whilst I am here. I am not sure how relevant the "Latent heat principle" comment is, when talking about cylinder head temperatures. Latent heat principle deals with heat energy required to change a substance from one state to another (Solid liquid or gaseous).
