New throttle Potentiometer fitted, ( yes the one that wasn't supposed to be in stock in the UK yeserday ) Fault Exactly the same, Rang Bosch Technical, And Matt thought that it sounded like an Ecu fault but also found it hard to believe that we had got 2 with the same fault. He also said that it should log a fault for T.P.S. as I mentioned earlier, And He also suggested unplugging the T.P.S to see if it went onto fast idle, Which it didn't. ??? I also Noticed that Even with just the ignition on and engine not running, the T.P.S 1 Voltage and MAP sensor voltage were fluctuating slightly. and the T.P.S. 2 was still dropping off to Zero. ?? We Heard a high pitched Humming noise and wondered if it was some sort of Electrical Intereference causing the problem, So we went around unplugging everything possible, The Noise was caused by the Alternator regulator. But Even disconnecting that made no difference. The Next time I checked the Vehicle, The voltages were steady, So I put it back together and got the customer to pick it up and test drive it for a while to see how it went. ( EGR still Blanked off ) Bosch Technical are going to let me know if they come up with anything, And I will be checking the next one that comes in for Comparisons etc. And possibly getting the spare Ecu Tested or picking another one up. Thanks Tony S.
