Has anyone noticed that recently Bosch in particular are taking an age to process these claims, I currently have the first one this year in process and it's been in for 8 weeks and still no answer.
The injector in question has failed electrically (Bosch test kit) and always used to be a direct swap out, but now they are sending them back to Bosch Germany (so I am told) to strip and test them fully before giving a replacement / refund or rejection.
Due to this delay we are having to stand the cost of a new injector ourselves or have very upset customers, which we don't want.
We have been warned that due to a small amount of corrosion on the outside of the injector (it was unusually clean & had only been in 4 months) it is likely to be rejected, This has to be a get out Claus as if this were the norm hardly anything would be warranted if there were even the slightest sign of rust !!
