Did the report come from Bosch, or is your supplier pulling the wool?? (Not sceptical me)!

If it was Bosch, at this point the injector still belongs to you, so I'd be awkward and request it back for independent testing, which will culminate in taking it further if it is found to have an internal fault (costs, testing costs and damages to your reputation). The unit was clearly not fit for purpose, and either your supplier needs to swallow the injector cost, or you'll find another one who will.
