I'm looking for any assistance on this one.
The car came in from another garage after mis fuelling.
After the other garage drained and restarted it with diesel, it went for another 100 miles then conked out.
I originally thought no low pressure supply so gave it my own LP supply to the filter, still no start.
Cranking fuel pressure around 350 bar. Found excessive leak off to no 4 injector so replaced and coded that injector.Started immediately and then ran for 10 mins (idle)Re checked leak off which was now about the same on all 4 injectors. When I then disconnected my LP supply the car ran but died and would not restart.opened the filter and found some iron filings inside.Renewed the HP pump, cleaned the pipes and rail and again it started and ran for 3 mins (idle). Now wont restart.
Took all 4 injectors out to be tested (Diesel services Uxbridge)and they've just called to say all injectors more or less within limits.
I cant remember the codes, I'll post them later, but I think there were turbo codes and gearbox codes, nothing I thought would prevent starting.
The pump cranks up to 350 bar almost immediately and then tries to fire but dies as the pressure drops again?
Should I re code all 4 injectors? Does the pump need coding? Does it have a LP pump or not?
Thank you
Colin.
