as above this fault code occurs predominantly when on cruise or overrun! description of fault is actual mass air flow below desired for a four second period & live data confirms at cruise generally 40% down on desired , 110k on clock & drives pretty well, bac to the checks
smoked inlet to find massive leak at manifold runner , replaced! Smaller leak at intercooler hose joint ,replaced, obviously amm replaced gen part all parts learnt in at ecm, software was updated july 2013! would be interested if later updates would cover issue?
have run though field remedy for this code but no fix found,on the road boost desired matches actual ,egr is not very active & I've put this down to low AMM feedback ,i have activated egr & air mass responds well with opening
DPF is all good at 45% saturation & very normal differential pressures at speed
if i had any other observation to note it would be the louder than normal induction sound whilst revving? almost like inlet is open to atmosphere however i have smoked this thing to death & nothing leaking,sorry about the long post ,i wonder if someone could give me a prod & maybe change my direction ,hopefully before i pull al my hair out thanks keith
