Hi all

Bit of a longshot but this car is in a mates garage and I offered to enquire.

Can anyone tell me if this gearbox is compatible, interchangable with any other BMW 2.0 diesels.

The car does not go in to reverse which is a fairly common problem I believe.

BMW do not supply any replacement parts for a repair, only a new gearbox at 5k euro.

He has sourced a gearbox (about 100 miles away) from a 2014 320d which is claimed is a 100% fit but he cant get confirmation and obviously he's a little nervous.

So if anyone could confirm, or otherwise it would be appreciated.
