I'd be tempted to start with a software update to the latest software version (9971).
If you take it to a dealer for the update ask them to update using Action code 32EA otherwise you may end up getting no update at all & being charged for the privilege. (some dealer techs don't seem able to accurately look up software relating to a specific fault - Bonus issues etc).
If asking an Autologic user to update it, ask for software version 9971 - that is the latest available.
Autologic have worked hard at getting their engine software version comparison up to date over the last 12 months, but there are still times when you need to ask for the later software as it isn't displayed on the tool.
There are other issues with this engine as Piotr has pointed out a software update may only be one part of a cure.
This engine suffers EGR, DPF & Injector faults regularly. It is also prone to wiring harness issues.
