After researching the system used on this vehicle everything I have read points to there being a Differential pressure sensor with a connection either side of the filter although I did find out that there is a sensor in use which only has one connection to the system but no evidence of it in use on this engine?
Also where the second pipe should enter the DPF there is an available port which has been capped? Started to wonder if maybe this filter had been gutted?
Went ahead with a regen and completed successfully hitting a peak exhaust temp of 565'c so think the DPF is in tact, soot mass has gone from 10g to 0.9 no more warning light!
However (I knew it was to good to be true!
since the regen I now have limp mode and codes for EGR circuit malfunctions! was to late to check it this evening so will be back on it tomorrow (have access to the plug underneath so can check it electrically) just wondered if there were any known issues after regens with these EGR valves? had read on Ross Tech Wiki somewhere about a filter getting blocked?
Thanks for reading
