If this were the case though would it not have struggled to reach regeneration temp with an empty filter?
The car is essentially fixed but has left me with a couple of un answered questions?
To add to the suspicions a golf came through with what appeared to be the exact same set up (eng code CAYY)
And guess what! two connections to the dpf from the sensor?
The car was only in for mot so unfortunately no time to play with it, but if anyone out there has a CFFB in the near future it would be nice to know if the one connection is standard or not on this engine model?
Contemplating getting the Audi back and having a look inside with a bore scope through a temp sensor port??
