Right for future reference the ECU is under the battery tray on the right hand side of the engine bay (NSF) as you are looking at it from the front. The wiring all checked out fine so not that. We managed to get the Jeep to fault on Road test with KTS hooked up and checking live readings me on the laptop and another driving. We suspected an EGR fault when it happened and MAF show air flow issues when the car hesitated. Pulled out EGR and looked clean and seated properly. Still cleaned it all the same and moved the plunger in and out whilst cleaning it. Stuck it all back together and checked live readings. Now the MAF was showing stable readings. The only thing I could think about the scope data was the resolution was not great enough to pick up a 50kgh deviation. Two comprehensive road test showed the car to be fixed.
