Thanks for the reply. I logged on to post my fix and saw your response, looking at the thread you pointed out the fault is identical to mine and neither of us had any reason to suspect it.




As you can see from the picture the woodruff key is broken. The reason i say "i think it's fixed is as i was typing this, the customer text to say the engine light had comeback on, and as fate would have it i have an identical vehicle in for an mot so i scoped the cam and crank on that one and the timing is slightly different to the one i repaired (i don't know how to upload pico files sorry). So i will check the code on Monday and update the post then.In the meantime if someone could send instructions on how to upload Pico files i will show you what i mean.
