Is this the engine that suffers with EGR contaminating the throttle flap? If so, remove the EGR pipe where it goes into the inlet manifold, and pull out the cone that distributes the gases into the manifold. Turn it around 180 degrees (you'll need to file a notch near the bolt hole of the cone to allow it to re-fit). Remove throttle butterfly and clean thoroughly.
