This car came in a while ago with the engine light on.The car drives approx 25 miles a day and its not city driving and it drives perfectly but the light is annoying the customer.The car has 84000km on the clock and this is the first time seeing this car.I inquired if the additive was ever filled and it had not.
I put in the lit re and a half of additive supplied by volvo and reset the counters ,cleared the codes and then took it for a drive.The light came on nearly straight away.Tried resetting counters and codes again but to no avail.
There are two codes ,1: ADM -0005 tank level additive ,fault tracing information
2:ECM A610 additive dosage module faulty signal
I am wondering are these faults pointing to the float in the additive tank or the dosage module.Any help is great full thanks.
