Just update on the progress . I monitored the live data for fuel pressure against fuel pressure difference (all I have on my diagnostic machine, no desired reading). And the pressure would freeze at 900 bar when under load and then engine would cut out. So I came to the conclusion it must be a faulty pressure switch so I fitted one. This did not fix it so I decided to take it to my local main dealer as the parts bill was mounting up.
After a week received I call from the dealer telling me it was a lower pressure pump fault so I explained that I had already tested it and that I thought it was the ecu shutting off the power supply to it, so check that first, any way they fitted a new pump and as you have guessed no differences , they rang me Friday and told me it must be an injector fault which I told them I have already had tested but they seem to think the test must have missed something .
Waiting to see what there test comes up with.
