Year of Manufacture *: 2004
Engine Size and Code *: 1.0lt x10xe
( Optional ) ECU Type: Bosch
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Op com
Got this one in a few weeks ago, would cut out after running for a while. Fault code for crankshaft sensor, scopped sensor showed fault so replaced. Still the same after fitting sensor and same code reappearing, checked Timing chain timing, wiring to ecu from sensor, checked lives and earths to ecu, diagnosed ecu fault.
Ordered secondhand reset ecu with security code and programmed in . Still none start but this time no comms to instrument cluster. I got local auto electrician in to see what he could find, he has checked all wiring including can bus and has even bypassed the canbus. So he said it must be the cluster or bcm. I ordered a complete secondhand kit which included ecu, bcm, instrument cluster, immobiliser . After fitting Complete kit the car is the same, the comms for the cluster just keep on dropping in and out with op com.
Any ideas please ?
P.s just realised put this on wrong cat sorry.
